My Procedures in Cyprus PDF Print E-mail

Updated August 2008  Hi for all of you out there who are following my progress, profuse apologies for not publishing my up to date photos. As you can see I have a new web site to manage which is keeping me busy.

News! Fingers crossed for 2009 we have plans to build a villa with 6 letting rooms in Paphos. So this will be great for clients wishing to come alone to get away from the family and just have time for themselves. We are also doing B&B which I have always wanted to do. No children, which makes for a quiet relaxing environment. We bought the land when we first came to Cyprus which lies just outside a village called Tala. The villa will have views to the sea and mountains. A perfect place for recovery and to recharge your batteries. I am having a treatment room and will offer massage and other therapies. As soon as we get planning permission I will publish the photos.

For December 2008: I have plans to have my nose corrected and some liposuction on the inner thighs and just under the arms.

Procedures carried out February 2005.
Hi, I am keeping an record of my experiences of having an Abdominoplasty with combined breast uplift and will try to keep it up to date and publish before and after photos in as much detail as possible

Why am I having the surgery?
Well firstly I have been wanting these procedures for ages, before the face lift really, but knew I would never be able to have it done at the UK prices. Now that I have found a Surgeon that I completely trust, I am having the surgery, for myself and to be able give a personal account of my experiences.

You may have longed to have this procedures as I have for years, but are frightened to death after watching documentaries on TV about other Cosmetic Surgery providers abroad, showing all kinds of horror stories and reading similar accounts in magazines. I just want to try to reassure you that you can go abroad and have cosmetic surgery for less than you would pay in the UK, without any compromise on surgical expertise and more importantly, benefit from professional pre. and post operative care.

If you have read about my experience on the about me page you will know that I had two procedures in Poland. A good idea at the time I thought, as the cost was cheaper than the UK. Many people surf the net, looking for the cheapest cosmetic surgery they can find, but really you have to weigh up the risks that may be involved by doing so, and if it is SO cheap, then really you have got to ask yourself why? The cheapest may in turn out to be the most expensive, if you do not have the right procedure in the first place, and then have to pay again to put it right, that is if it can be put right!

I am 54 in June 05, in very good health and have always worked. At one point in my career, as most nurses do to make ends meet, I had two jobs, so I have no feelings of guilt spending money on myself whatsoever. I have three children and breast fed them all. Lee who is 34yrs and gorgeous, Brad 19yrs and a complete joy and Trudie a sweetie at 17yrs of age. I feel that it is my turn now to get a better body image before I hit 60. (only six years to go!)
Mark and everyone else has encouraged me to go ahead, as they know I have wanted this for such a long time.
Even Mum at 77 is all for it, and my sister Jayne is seeing "how I go on!" before contemplating a Breast Enlargement. Trudie was very frightened at the mere thought of me having surgery, and has complained bitterly that I will no longer be cuddly -TOUGH!

Living in Cyprus in the summer is murder, it is so very hot and humid. Every summer I have had rashes and fungal infections under my breasts and abdominal overhang, where the skin has constantly been hot and damp. I am sick of hunting for nice swimwear with under-wire cups, and always having to wear a heavy duty bra and sick of buying loose fitting shapeless tent tops.

I have always been overweight and have tried every diet including Cambridge, Atkens, Weight watchers etc. I have always lost weight, starting from my face, then boobs, ( which just made them more droopy ) but have never lost the fat from my abdomen. I hate ANY form of exercise, and find it boring. However, I do realise it's importance and so, in a final attempt to get fit, I have invested in a re-bounder, a mini trampoline which is wonderful. Play some music with a good beat, whack the volume up and you are away, making it as easy or as difficult as you choose, a very good cardio work out. This is the only piece of equipment I enjoy working on. But boy does it play havoc with droopy boobs! I have often found myself having to support them during workouts, they have been so uncomfortable.
