When will I be discharged from the clinic? PDF Print E-mail
Usually clients are fit enought to be discharged 24 hours after surgery. However if your condition causes concern you will be advised to remain in the clinic for a further nights observation, especially if you are travelling alone.
You will be discharged when:
  • You are tollerating food and fluids without vomiting.
  • Your infusion has been removed.
  • You can stand and walk without feeling dizzy or light headed.
  • Your temperature and blood pressure are within normal limits.
  • You feel well enough!
