What happens at my consultation? PDF Print E-mail
Before coming to Cyprus you will have had your medical questionnaire reviewed. It is important for your health to provide complete information. And you will have had the pre-anesthetic screening tests here, so there should be no reason why you should not have this operation.
The surgeon will begin by:
  • Discussing your concerns about your appearance and reviewing your goals. He will be familiar with your case as you will have previously submitted your photographs.
  • You will be photographed again, so that he has before and after images to compare and to keep for his own records.
  • He will observe the texture and elasticity of your skin.
  • The areas requiring treatment will be marked to assist him during the surgery.
  • He will explain what the procedure involves, where the incision's will be, the recovery time, how long it will take and any complications involved.
  • You will be shown before and after computer images of this procedure, so that you know exactly what may be achieved.
  • The surgeon will recommend which areas can be improved for achieving the best results in your particular and individual case.
  • You will be encouraged to ask any questions all of which will be answered to your complete satisfaction.
  • Following your consultation and examination, you will be asked to sign a consent form which means that you have understood the potential benefits and risks associated with Liposuction.
  • He may also wish to write to your G.P. ( unless you tell us otherwise) giving details of the procedure so that if there are any problems in the short or long-term; your doctor is informed and can help you to recover.
