Please note: that all clients are required to have a Mammogram with/without ultrasound prior to having this procedure to make sure their breasts are healthy.

For many women, large heavy pendulous breasts are painful and cause pain in the neck, back and shoulders. Large breasts can also make it difficult to find clothes that fit and cause painful cutting marks on the shoulders from bra straps and in the summer the area beneath the breast may become sore, inflamed and may even become infected due to the area constantly being warm and damp from perspiration.

Many women, especially younger ones, are very sensitive to jokes or remarks about the size of their breasts. Large breasts make it difficult to play sports and maybe socially embarrassing. The surgical procedure in this case is Reduction Mammoplasty, where a certain portion of the breast is removed and the remainder is reconstructed to a more natural and attractive position.

Breast reduction procedure removes fat, glandular tissue, and skin from the breasts, making them smaller, lighter, and firmer. It can also reduce the size of the areola, the darker skin surrounding the nipple. The goal is to give the woman smaller, better-shaped breasts in proportion with the rest of her body.

Please note: For reduction of very large pendulous breasts, in some cases the nipple and areola may need to be surgically removed and reapplied as a free graft. Removing and reapplying the nipple/areola tissue will result in the loss of nipple sensation.
